Visiting Walt Disney World as a first timer can be overwhelming, and you definitely want to see and do as much as possible. But you can’t forget to eat! That is where our list of The Top 5 Walt Disney World Restaurants for First Timers will come in handy. O’hana has our hearts for any meal. Walt Disney World Restaurants: Top 5 For First Visits 1.’Ohana ~ Whether breakfast or dinner, ‘Ohana is at the top of the list. For breakfast, your family can enjoy a family style meal, while meeting Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto. The food is amazing, and the character interaction is definitely worth it. Currently, this is the only place you can meet Lilo, and it’s a great environment to meet Stitch as well. Even the kiddos get in on the action, when Mickey leads them around the restaurant with fun instruments in a parade. Dinner could possibly bring you a view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks show that evening. The atmosphere is cozy and very unique. After dinner, you can enjoy a drink or even ride the monorail and resort hop. This one should definitely be at the top of your list. 2. Pinocchio Village Haus ~ Pinocchio Village Haus is found in Magic Kingdom Park. It is where old Fantasyland and New Fantasyland meet, and it is a classic. It is a Quick Service Dining location, so you do not need reservations. This makes the list because the atmosphere is so classic Disney. The exterior looks Bavarian, and it has several large rooms inside, which allows for a lot of (air-conditioned) seating. The best seat in the house is on the second floor, overlooking “Tt’s A Small World”. You can wave to the passengers as they sail away on the happiest cruise that ever sailed! The best part, is the menu is fantastic. We highly suggest the flatbreads! 3. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall ~Do you need a princess fix? If so, you will get it at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. It is found in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot’s World Showcase. I like this one because you can eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner here. That gives more options in getting an advanced dining reservation. Belle greets you when you enter, and you have a photo opportunity with her. From there, you are treated to interaction with four other princesses. During our visit, we met Snow White, Cinderella, Ariel, and Sleeping Beauty. The food is good, and it is a wonderful location to enjoy a princess character meal. 4. 1900 Park Fare ~ Hands down, this is the best character interaction in Walt Disney World! During breakfast, you will see Mary Poppins, the Mad Hatter, Alice in Wonderland, Tigger, and Pooh. Dinner brings you Cinderella, Prince Charming, the Evil Stepsisters, and the Evil Stepmother. You cannot go wrong with either meal or character experience. 1900 Park Fare can be found in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. 5. Via Napoli ~ Via Napoli is found in the Italy Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. Via Napoli is an amazing restaurant, that everyone will love. The atmosphere is rustic Italian, the food is fantastic, and it is great when you want to feed a crowd! It offers some of the best pizzas I have ever had, and the atmosphere is authentic. And don’t pass up the Prosciutto and Melon, seriously–it may be my favorite appetizer in Disney World. Where will you be eating on your first visit to Walt Disney World? I hope you will try our favorite places. Disney Walt Disney World disney diningDisney Planningfloridaorlandovisit floridawalt disney world
