Share Tweet Pin This weekend kicks off the annual ZooBOOO at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. There’s spooktacular fun for you and the animals this weekend at ZooBOOO presented by CFG Community Bank. Bring your little ghouls and boys for trick-or-treating, costume contests, games, crafts, educational activities and live performances. Plus, see the animals get fall flavored treats of their own. Parents and kids of all ages are encouraged to bring goodie bags and wear costumes! If you forget your costume, face painting will be available for a small additional cost. Some games may require additional fees. ZooBOOO will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm. ZooBOOO is included with Zoo admission and is free for Zoo members. Zoo admission is $18.00 for adults, $13.00 for children 3-11 and $15 for seniors over 65. Parking is FREE at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. One of my favorite perks of the Maryland Zoo is that you can bring food and snacks in the zoo, there are ample picnic tables to have lunch. 10:30 – Silly Goose and Val 1:30 – Bert The Nerd Animal Enrichment Schedule: 10:30 – Chimp 10:30 – Lions 11:00 – Otter 11:30 – Ravens 11:30 – Elephant (pumpkin smash!) 12:15 – Warthog 1:30 – Leopard 2:00 – Giraffe/Okapi (Porcupine Saturday) 2:30 – Lemurs 2:30 – Penguins 3:00 – Farmyard 11:30am & 2:30pm daily All guests 0-12 year old are encouraged to participate. Please limit entries to only one contest per day. This year’s costume categories are: Best Animal Scariest Most Original Registration for the first contest closes at 11:15am and at 2:15pm for the second contest. {No exceptions, no late entries will be permitted}. Spend the day at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore and come up close with Penguins at their fantastic new exhibit, Polar Bears, Gorillas and so much more. The Zoo has undergone an amazing refurbishment and looks beautiful, there is still work to be done but it’s the perfect way to spend a fall day in Maryland.
