Washington Convention Center.Designated one of the nation’s top five auto shows by the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers, The Washington Auto Show®, a world-class event, continues to wow audiences with its cutting-edge exhibits, latest model cars and displays of historic vehicles. The Washington Auto Show is also the largest public show in Washington, D.C. Over the course of its many years this beloved and historic D.C. tradition has attracted Washingtonians of all stripes – and political affiliations. Visitors enjoy the annual trek to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center for the entertainment, as much as for the experience of viewing the hundreds of cars on exhibit. Along with the engineering prowess on display, the 2017 show will feature VIP tours led by award-winning automotive writers and a special exhibit area for live painting of “art” cars. As a bonus, there will be on site visits from celebrities and sports personalities. WHY GO TO AN AUTO SHOW? Car buying can be a huge undertaking. Nobody wants to blindly walk into a dealership and look for a car. It’s stressful and makes the experience less than fun. When you go to an auto show there is no hassle from a salesman, there is no haggling and attempts to sell you on why this is the car for you. Go to the Washington Auto Show this year and find the car that meets your needs and THEN go to the dealership. You can sit inside every make and model, play with the radio, and ask the automakers questions. All without feeling any pressure to buy or guilt for walking away. It is the most relaxed way to find your next new car. WHEN IS AUTO SHOW OPEN?
