Attractions in this island are based on some of the most popular books by Dr. Seuss. You may even run into Thing 1 or Thing 2 when you are wandering through. This is certainly a fun area at Universal Orlando! Seuss Landing at Islands of Adventure Islands of Adventure’s version of a “children’s area,” Seuss Landing offers attractions and merchandise designed for young children. Visitors to this whimsical island will discover that, true to the Dr. Seuss books, there is silliness around every corner. Offering family friendly attractions, meet and greets and fun food it’s an island worth exploring. Attractions at Seuss Landing The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride: Minimum Height 36″ The trolley takes you on a leisurely ride around Seuss Landing as you are entertained by fanciful sounds and effects. It gives you a really great birds eye view of the park! CARO-SEUSS-EL: Under 48″ with adult supervision Take a spin on this traditional merry-go-round dressed up with Dr. Seuss characters. While you enjoy the view, look up high to see Horton the Elephant carefully guarding his special dandelion and its inhabitants. One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish: Under 48″ with adult supervision Climb inside your very own Dr. Seuss flying fish, where you have control. Be careful: this ride has a few surprises, and if you are not paying attention you will get wet! Cat in the Hat: Under 48″ with adult supervision Step inside the famous Dr. Seuss tale and swerve this way and that through one of Dr. Seuss’s most beloved classics. You will twist from room to room, and hope you can clean the mess up in time. If I Ran The Zoo: All ages If I Ran the Zoo is an interactive play area for kids and a great place to get the wiggles out. Filled with fanciful Dr. Seuss animals, there is a world of fun to be had. Dining at Seuss Landing Green Eggs and Ham: Located at the entrance to Seuss Landing, this quick-service restaurant has one specialty: “Say! I like Green Eggs and Ham! I do! I like them, Sam I Am!”. Prices range from $6-$10 and offer the signature sandwich, burgers and chicken fingers. You’ll want to eat it in a box, with a fox, and everywhere in between. Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-Pendous: This quick service location is definitely the most entertaining in Islands of Adventure. It features a colorful circus theme, and guests can watch The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride pass through the interior of the restaurant every few minutes. Prices range from $5-$10 for a meal. Chow down on crowd-pleasing favorites like fried chicken, spaghetti, pizza, cheeseburgers, and chicken Caesar salad, all while surrounded by colorful caricatures straight from the imagination of Morris McGurk. Shopping Cats, Hats & Things: This is the best boutique for The Cat in the Hat-themed toys, gifts, and t-shirts; plus a wide selection of themed child and baby apparel. Honk Honkers: You can’t leave without a sweet treat, and what’s better than make your own cotton candy. Select a unicorn lollipop or paper cone as your base, choose from flavors like birthday cake and pink vanilla, and add rock candy, rainbow sprinkles and other tasty toppings. If you’ve had your fill of snacks, pick up Seuss souvenir mugs and more. Mulberry Street Store: Offering gizmos, gadgets and goodies galore you will certainly find what you are looking for.
