Regent Seven Seas Cruise Line: 25th Anniversary Celebration Jenn, June 27, 2017June 27, 2017 Sharing is caring! Share Tweet Pin Disclosure: I was provided a cruise from Regent for teaching the social media program on-board, in partnership with TravelingMom.com Regent Seven Seas Cruise Line is celebrating its 25th year at sea. I had the pleasure of sailing on one of the commemorative cruises in Europe and was treated one of a kind events. Take a look at how you can experience VIP travel, this year, on Regent Seven Seas Cruise Line. Regent Seven Seas Voyager Regent Seven Seas is a luxury cruise line. I have been on many cruises, but wasn’t prepared for the Regent experience. And to plus my experience I was sailing on a 25th Anniversary cruise. During its 25th Anniversary year, Regent has rolled out the red carpet for cruise guests. Regent Seven Seas Cruise If you are looking for a cruise that will spoil you, show you the wonders of the world and provide all-suite accommodations look no further than Regent Seven Seas. This cruise line is geared much more towards adult cruisers, looking for an exclusive experience. The staterooms are ALL SUITES, nothing is below Deck 6, and they all have balconies. My suite was the lowest category and I still had a bathtub and a walk-in closet! I can’t imagine what the grand suites look like inside. My suite had a walk-in closet! In the summer months the Mariner Club for kids, can be found on-board and the kids on our cruise were very busy. But, as a whole the atmosphere in general, is more adult oriented. Providing spaces to play bridge, read a book or put together a puzzle the Regent line of ships are not always in “go” mode like the more family friendly cruise lines. It is a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. There are no dive-in movies, or mid-night buffets. In fact it is quite the opposite experience. After 4p.m. each day the pool deck was empty! There are casinos and lounges on-board, but they certainly don’t get rowdy and stay open until the wee hours. If an adult only cruise is more your speed, Regent is the one you want. My favorite feature was that dinner is not a scheduled time in the restaurants, you can go when you want. It also is not rushed, we spent two hours dining outdoors one evening and it was quite memorable. 25 Years Of Unforgettable As I mentioned Regent rolled out the red carpet, literally during my 25th Anniversary Cruise. There are still 16 cruises left this year to enjoy the big celebration. Red carpet was rolled out on more than one occasion. 25th Anniversary Commemorative Pin Guests sailing on one of the anniversary cruises will receive a Commemorative Pin. I found this little touch to be really nice. Many guests wore them proudly the rest of the cruise. Silver Anniversary Tastings The food and wine on Regent is already top-notch. In addition to the already included wines and spirits, you will have the chance to broaden your palette with special tasting seminars. Ambassador Offer to Entice Past Guests Regent is doubling the Ambassador Offer. Past guests that refer a guest on one of the commemorative voyages will receive a $400 per suite shipboard credit. This offer also includes your friends. Not a bad deal at all! Social Media Experience Regent has rolled out the social media experience to help guests on-board with best practices in sharing their travel stories. They are encouraging new and return guests to share their unforgettable moments sailing with Regent via their dedicated facebook page. Take a look at the #Regent25 hashtag on Instagram and Facebook to see what guests are experiencing. You will certainly find my European journey well documented. Compass Rose Galley Tour and Lunch Guests sailing one of the commemorative voyages, have the unique opportunity to experience a one-of-a kind galley tour and enjoy a full lunch buffet. This happens during a sea day in the Compass Rose dining room. Lunch and Galley Tour. Seven Seas Voyager Starting from inside the restaurant, a red carpet guides you into the galley, giving a VIP feeling while touring the massive kitchen. Inside the galley, you will have the chance to meet the crew creating your amazing meals each day. Be sure to eat a light breakfast, this buffet is a feast. I would say this was a really neat experience. Taking a peek behind the scenes was a real treat for this avid cruiser. Choose from 16 anniversary voyages remaining this year. From Alaska to Asia and Europe to the Tropics, you will certainly enjoy special on-board moments. Travel adult travelcruisecruise travelregent 25regent cruise lineregent silver seastravel
