I have experienced other Great Wolf Lodges;and still wasn’t prepared for the grandeur of the Texas location. Located just 10 minutes from the Dallas-Ft Worth area this lodge stands alone and is the perfect retreat for families. Great Wolf Lodge is a family fun destination. With an indoor water park, outdoor water park, dining, theme rooms, arcade and so much more you will love spending a weekend at Great Wolf Lodge Grapevine. We have experienced two other lodges that are smaller than the Grapevine location; and still had a fantastic time. If you aren’t in the Grapevine area find a lodge near you and visit; it will still be a howling good time. Great Wolf Lodge Grapevine Accommodations Offering 18 different suites from standard family suites that sleep four; to a Grizzly Bear Suite that will sleep 8 you are sure to find the perfect accommodations for your weekend. We have stayed in the Kid Camp Suite on a previous stay and my daughter loved having her own space at the end of the day. Included with your accommodations are the following amenities: Waterpark Passes Free Wi-Fi Fitness Center Kids Activities Story Time with characters Clock Tower Show Dining for Everyone Delight your taste buds with five on-site dining locations to choose from at Great Wolf Lodge Grapevine. And for the coffee lovers; yes there is a Starbucks on-site as well. Great Wolf Lodge is also allergy friendly; the culinary teams are well versed in common food allergies and dietary restrictions. They are more than happy to accommodate your families needs, and encourage you to speak to your chef, so your meal can be prepared safely from the beginning. Great Wolf Lodge does not use or serve peanut or tree nut products. The most popular breakfast spot is The Loose Moose Cottage located on the main level of the lodge. Offering a wide variety of options the breakfast buffet is the perfect way to fuel up for the day. You can stop back for lunch or dinner as well; they have a full menu. Looking for a nice dinner option without leaving the resort? You can dine at Lodge Wood Fired Grill and enjoy fabulous salads, wood fired steaks and in-house desserts made fresh. If your family is at the water park or just looking for a quick bite to eat try Grizzly Jack’s or Hungry as a Wolf. Great Wolf Lodge has great pizza. Be sure not to leave Great Wolf Lodge without a stop at Bear Paw Sweets & Eats for homemade fudge. It is rich and decadent and best with a cold glass of milk. 24 Hours of Fun at Great Wolf Lodge There is no shortage of activities at Great Wolf Lodge Grapevine; from a 24 hour arcade to its mega water park get ready for a full day of fun. The star of the show is the massive water park that is a cool 72 degrees year round. They even pipe in magic humidity somehow so you HAVE to swim. Filled with zero entry areas for the babies, Fort Mackenzie for the school age kids and giant slides for the teens you are sure to find hours of fun. Looking for a break from the water park; head outside to the ropes course as you navigate obstacles and high-flying fun for the family. If the kids aren’t slowing down after a day at the water park and on the ropes course head to the Cub Club, Story Time, the 4-D theater or the 24 hour arcade. Did I mention Magiquest? This interactive game takes place around the entire lodge from the grand lobby to the hallways and everywhere in between. You will choose a wand and it will then be activated for four days, you can play as much or as little as you want. We have taken many Magiquest journeys as a family and it is always fun to explore the lodges and see objects come to life. MagiQuest Tips You can take your wand home as a souvenir and bring it back to use over and over again with the purchase of new adventures. You get to decide how much time you want to spend with MagiQuest. Depending on how many quests you undertake at a time, play can last anywhere from 30 minutes to three hours. And you can always take a break and come back later.
