Hershey's Chocolate World: Year Round Chocolate Fun

When thinking about Hershey, PA many visitors only think of its world class theme park, Hershey offers so much more than thrills and adventure. One of our favorite stops is Hershey’s Chocolate World, a FREE exhibit just outside the park entrance.

Enter the double doors into a mecca of chocolate and delights, you can smell the sweet treat in the air of Chocolate World. Our first stop is always the Hershey’s Great American Chocolate Tour. Follow cocoa beans on a journey from the tropical rainforest to The Sweetest Place On Earth, Hershey, Pennsylvania! See, feel, hear, and smell the delicious transformation from bean to Hershey’s famous
chocolate. The best part of the ride, the free sample at the end! The singing Cows are pretty cute as well.

There are a few great activities you can do for a fee as well at Chocolate World:

Hershey’s Create Your Own Candy Bar: Produce your own custom candy bar using pure Hershey’s milk chocolate with a selection of ingredients and
toppings. Then design the package for your unique creation.

Hershey’s Great Chocolate Factory Mystery in 4-D: A collaboration with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, viewers will follow fan-favorite characters Hershey®, Reese® and Kiss® as they navigate the mystery. With more than 100 possible outcomes based on audience participation, you’ll never see the same show twice.

Hershey’s Chocolate Tasting Adventure : Embark on an entertaining and educational journey into chocolate. Join a chocolate expert for a guided, interactive, multimedia discussion of chocolate lore. Taste Hershey’s creamy milk chocolate, robust dark chocolates, and various chocolates with unique inclusions. After completing your Chocolate Tasting Adventure, you’ll receive an official Masters Degree in Chocolate Tasting from Hershey’s University!

Hershey Trolley Works: A memorable excursion delivers good, old-fashioned fun as singing trolley conductors dressed in period costumes entertain and inform you on an enchanting ride through Chocolate Town, USA.

Only in Hershey’s Chocolate World can you find the largest Chocolate gift shop imaginable. Are you looking for a Kit-Kat bar t-shirt? Or maybe a ten pound chocolate bar? This is the gift shop you have been dreaming of. Stock up on your favorite Hershey’s brand confections and candies or find some sweet gifts and souvenirs, including toys, apparel, collectables, colorful tins of chocolate, and special gifts that you can create!

How could I not mention my weakness, the Hershey’s Bake Shoppe. Oh my goodness the treats to be found here are so yummy. Making dozens of varieties of homemade cupcakes made with your
favorite Hershey’s brands including Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Hershey’s, Hershey’s Kisses Brand Milk Chocolates, Hershey’s Bliss Chocolate and more. Not to mention warm chocolate chip cookies and milk.
