Hersheypark Halloween is a seasonal event, held in The Sweetest Place On Earth. This family friendly event is perfect for kids of every age, or the kid in you! From trick or treating, to roller coasters and fun characters this is the perfect fall outing.
Hersheypark Halloween
Halloween is a sweet celebration located throughout Hersheypark, Hershey’s Chocolate World, and ZooAmerica. Offering trick or treat stops, character photo opportunities, and with the exception of water rides, almost all attractions are open.
This year will be the longest event yet! The park is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October 30, 2022.
Hershey’s Chocolate World
Begin your adventure at Hershey’s Chocolate World where the kids can get their trick or treat bags, and make their way around to three candy stops. This event begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
This year we took the Trick or Treat Trolley from Chocolate World and it was lots of fun. The trolley takes you on a 45 minute tour of Hershey, PA and includes a little history and a lot of fun for kids. You may even get a sweet treat or two along the way.
Hersheypark
Once you finish up trick or treating at Chocolate World, take the 3 minute walk to the park entrance and get ready for over 50 attractions!
Sweetest Families Tip: If you have yet to ride Candymonium do it at night, you won’t regret this amazing coaster in the dark! Make sure you also experience lights-out rides on Laff Trakk, Lightning Racer, and Comet.
Children 12 and under are invited to wear a Halloween costume and enjoy Treatville in The Boardwalk At Hersheypark with 10 candy stops, and fun photo opportunities. Treatville is open until 8 p.m.
The Hershey Characters are dressed up in their Halloween finest and ready to party to the season’s classics under the spooky glowing Founder’s Way area lights. The dance party is nightly at 8:30 p.m. Characters in costume are also available for selfies with times and locations noted in the Hersheypark app.
You can also see California sea lions, Atlantic harbor seals and a grey seal during Our Friends From The Sea show in the Aquatheatre at 3:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
ZooAmerica: Creatures of the Night
If your kids are fearful of the dark, this may not be the event for them, ZooAmerica goes completely dark and all you have is your own flashlight to guide you. ZooAmerica admission is included with your Hersheypark admission, so be sure not to miss this creepy, crawly night in the zoo.
Halloween Sweet Treats
No trip to Hersheypark is complete without something sweet! The King Shakes are a fan favorite, and for good reason.
