Fairfield Inn Anaheim may just be my favorite Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel. After reading a few reviews, I could not have been more pleased with this hotel, and would certainly stay for an extended visit with my family. My first visit certainly will not be my last.
Fairfield Inn Anaheim- Family and Budget Friendly
Fairfield Inn Maingate is situated on Harbor Boulevard across from the entrance to the Disneyland Resort. From my room I could see Tomorrowland, that is how close to the parks you are. There is no need to rent a car if you are only visiting Disneyland during your stay in Anaheim, you can take the Disneyland Express to the resort direct from the airport. Being on Harbor Boulevard you can also walk to many non-Disney owned restaurants and stores, as it is a safe area and very well lit in the evenings.
Upon entering the lobby I was greeted by bell services and directed to check-in. The lobby is bright and colorful and very “Disney-fied”, they even play Disney movies and have a really cute Kids Check In area.
After a long cross country flight I just wanted to crawl into bed, no sightseeing for me that day just my room please. When I opened the door I was pleasantly surprised that Marriott upgraded me to a theme room! What a magical surprise to start my first trip to Disneyland. The rooms are quite large and very well decorated to suit the theme. If you want to save money and still have that Disney, feel this is the hotel for you.
I was in a King Bed suite with a pullout sofa, this would comfortably sleep a family of 4. There was a door connecting to a 2 queen suite as well (that was Cars themed).
The details were fantastic, any Frozen fan in your family would absolutely LOVE this suite. The room was spotless! This is not a typical Fairfield Inn at all, the staff takes a lot of pride in making this a very Disney friendly resort. If you need a break from the parks during the day there is also large outdoor swimming pool, as well as a Pizza Hut Express. For picky eaters there is a McDonald’s directly in front of the hotel.
This is a Disneyland Good Neighbor hotel, and it is kept to a very high standard. You can purchase your park tickets at the hotel as well and save time upon arrival at Disneyland Resort. I wish my stay was a little longer I was enjoying my king bed and views of Space Mountain in the morning!
