Doubletree by Hilton at Disney Springs Hotel Review Jenn, May 6, 2017September 30, 2019 Sharing is caring! The Doubletree by Hilton at Disney Springs is located in Walt Disney World, that’s right it is on Disney property. Offering the largest suites on Disney property, this hotel is ideal for families of five or more. Enjoy the space to spread, out all while experiencing the magic of Disney. Take a look with me at this gem of a property at Disney Springs. An official Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Doubletree by Hilton at Disney Springs Doubletree by Hilton at Disney Springs Last week our family stayed at the Doubletree Disney Springs, and I was pleasantly surprised. With a teen in the house now, I am always looking for options that give her a little privacy at the end of the day. It doesn’t have to be her own room, just a space where she doesn’t have to share a bed with her little sister. This often poses a problem when it comes to budget because suites can be really expensive, especially in Disney. This hotel is also a great option for a multi-generational trip to Disney. We found the Doubletree at Disney Springs to be the answer to this problem. At the end of the night we pulled the doors shut and she had her own queen size sofa bed and television. The queen sleeper sofa was perfect for my teen. The Doubletree has families in mind as the price during peak summer season is less than $200/night. This comes in less than a room with two double beds in the value category at Disney. It may be worthwhile to forgo the Magical Express and Extra Magic Hours to stay here and have more space to relax at the end of your Disney days. This hotel is the only all suite hotel in Disney Springs. When you arrive you are greeted at the front desk with warm cookies and a smile. That is the Doubletree difference. We checked in at 11.30 am and our room was ready. This may not always be the case, but you can check-in and then be alerted when your room is ready. Feel free to enjoy the outdoor pool or head to the theme parks. The lobby is very inviting upon arrival. All Suites- All The Time We were in a one bedroom suite, and it was large enough for the five of us with tons of room to spare. This 540 sq. ft. suite features a living room with a queen-sized sofa bed, dining area for four, and private bedroom with two queen-sized beds. In addition, enjoy amenities including WiFi, 24-hour refreshment center access, in-room Keurig coffeemaker, microwave, mini-refrigerator, and2 LCD HD TVs. This room will accommodate up to six guests. If you need something larger, book the two bedroom suite that will sleep up to eight. Two queen beds are in the one bedroom suite. When you aren’t relaxing in your suite, enjoy the large outdoor space that includes a pool, hot tub, kids splash pad and playground. We spent the entire afternoon poolside, and enjoyed adult beverages from the tiki bar while the kids played. I loved that the pool was open until 11 p.m. giving the kids time to play even after a day in the theme parks. The hot tub was certainly calling my tired feet. Where Can We Eat? The Evergreen Cafe just off the lobby is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We enjoyed a full breakfast buffet during our stay and it was delicious. Offering fresh fruit, cereal, hot bar items, made to order omelets and Mickey Waffles we were satisfied. You may also order room service from the menu as well to be delivered to your suite. When the pool side bar is open you can order off the menu as well to have it delivered to the pool. There is also find a grab and go shop in the lobby offering soda, snacks, beer and wine. This store is open 24 hours, so no matter what time you arrive at the hotel you can find something to curb your appetite. Doubletree Disney Springs Overview The Doubletree at Disney Springs was a home-run for our group. While we were only visiting for one night, I could easily spend a longer vacation here. The property isn’t too large so the pool and public areas never felt crowded even with the hotel at capacity. When staying at this Official Walt Disney World hotel you can enjoy exclusive benefits including: Purchasing Disney tickets online Advanced tee times at Disney golf courses Discounts at four nearby PGA championship golf courses Disney Merchandise store You can walk to Disney Springs and enjoy nightly entertainment, shopping and dining. It was REALLY hot during our visit so we opted to drive, it literally took 3 mins from the park lot of the Doubletree to the parking garage at Disney Springs. The hotel also has a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes beginning at 6 pm each night. Try the Doubletree by Hilton at Disney Springs on your next Orlando vacation, and enjoy the suite life.
