Disney World Discounts

Disney World discounts are available during certain travel seasons. We tend to see the discounts when it is predicted “low season”, or in summer. They can vary from a room only discount, to free dining, or free park ticket offer, you never know. You can also book your Disney World vacation and apply the discount should it come out later. Let’s dig a little deeper into these offers.

Will a discount work for your Disney vacation? You need to take a few factors into consideration before deciding which discount will work best.

Room Only

If you are staying in a Deluxe Resort the room only discounts usually get you the most bang for your buck. Or if you have always wanted to stay deluxe this is a great way to upgrade your vacation. Also, if you don’t need park tickets this is a great way to take advantage of sometimes 40% off a room rate!

Free Dining

We all know free dining is everyone’s favorite discount, but it seems to be few and far between that you can find availability when it releases. Free dining is best for first visits, so you can do ALL the character dining and foodie trips. Don’t get me wrong, I love dining in Disney. But there may be other offers that don’t make you feel as if you are eating all day just for sake of savings.

Ticket Offers

Everyone wants an extra park day, so these are great offers! Take full advantage when you can because Disney World tickets are not cheap.

What Discount Is Best?

What it comes down to is what offer is best for your next trip? If you are visiting during the Epcot Food & Wine Festival, absolutely get free dining. If you are taking a weekend away, and want to treat yourself, grab that room only offer. It also helps to put it on paper and see which offer will save you the most. Free Dining may sound tempting, but, you may not eat 2 meals and 2 snacks a day in the dead of July, so a room only may be a better offer.

Current 2020 Discounts

New discounts come out quarterly, and when they do you have to act fast because the rooms do sell out quick. Here are the most current discounts for 2020 Disney World travel.
