Disney Military Discounts- 2021 + 2022 Offers

Disney has reliably offered Military Discounts for families each year with the Disney Armed Forces Salute. It can be a little confusing whether or not you qualify, so let me break it down for you.

Disney Military Discount

Disney military discounts through the Armed Forces Salute Program offers a 4, 5, or 6-day park ticket at reduced rate.

Your multi-day tickets are good until 14 days after you use your first one.  Qualified individuals may purchase up to a maximum of six theme park tickets per military member during the Military Salute offer period. One ticket is solely for the use of the member or spouse, the rest can be used by anyone else in the family.

These tickets are non-refundable, be sure you are definitely going to use them before expiration. 

The discounted price for 4-day tickets is $265. For less than $20 more, you get the fifth day with a discounted rate of $283. Finally, you can have six days in the parks for only $301.

In addition to promotional pricing on multi-day tickets, the park hopper option is included automatically, which means you can leave one park and visit another any day of your trip. Currently, you can park hop beginning at 2 p.m. daily from your original park. 

Who qualifies for Disney Military discounts?

You can access these discounts as an eligible service member or spouse.  To qualify as an “eligible service member,” you must be active or retired US Military personnel, including the following:

• National Guard, Reservists
• U.S. Coast Guard
• Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS)
• Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)

Spouses of service members may purchase by providing active military ID.

Note: Non-retired veterans do not qualify for the Disney Armed Forces Salute.

How to Get Your Discount Tickets

When you pick the offer you want, you can get a voucher at your Information Tickets and Tours office. The pricing at your ITT office may be even lower than the promotional pricing listed on Walt Disney World’s website, but that is not a guarantee.

The voucher itself is not your ticket, you will have to take the voucher to Guest Services at the park or in Disney Springs when you arrive to activate your tickets.

To purchase the voucher and redeem the ticket, either the eligible service member or the spouse must be present with a valid ID.  Linking your military tickets to your My Disney Experience account does not activate your tickets! You will still need to do so at Disney with a valid military ID.

Disney Hotel Discounts

At Walt Disney World, Military personnel are eligible for discounted rates on select Disney hotels with some exclusions. 

These offers do have some exclusions, including suites in moderate and deluxe resorts. At Art of Animation Resort, the family suites are eligible.

The Little Mermaid rooms don’t count as eligible. Other excluded room types are 3-bedroom villas, cabins, and overwater bungalows. The number of rooms available for the offer is limited, and minimum stay requirements may also apply.

Military Discounts at Disneyland

The same Disney military discounts are offered at Disneyland in Anaheim, Ca. This bundle is for three-day and four day passes. The three day pass is $184. As with Walt Disney World, the four-day pass is only $20 more.

These passes are park hoppers, which provide a much better value at the Disneyland resort than they do at Walt Disney World.

The Disneyland Resort also offers discounts up to 40% on select rooms. 

Disney Cruise Line Military Discount

You can enjoy discounted rates on Disney vacations outside of the parks and resorts.

Each military member is limited to only one stateroom for these exclusive rates. Western Caribbean and Bahamas cruises from 4 to 7 nights are eligible for a military discount.
