Looking for A Kissimmee Vacation Home? Characters Corner Luxury Home Awaits Jenn, October 7, 2021June 18, 2022 Sharing is caring! Share Tweet Pin Characters Corner home is just steps from the major Central Florida attractions, so much so, that you can see Expedition Everest from the stop sign just outside the gates! This six bedroom, four bathroom home is perfect for any Florida vacation. Characters Corner Home Located in Formosa Garden Estates, just 2.5 miles from Walt Disney World, Characters Corner is the perfect escape. Having your own vacation home is amazing, I always stayed in resorts, and I think this has totally changed me. We had six women in this house, and it never felt crowded or cramped. We had ample space to spread out, and lots of space to gather with a glass of wine together. The owners (original since 2002), have done a great job of mixing a chic décor with a touch of Disney, if you are a Disney fan, this is the house for you. They take a lot of pride in their home to ensure that every bit of your stay is Magical from beginning to end. Let’s Take A Tour When you enter the large home you are greeted by the cutest Mickey topiary, along with all of the instructions for contacting the property manager (who lives in the community) if you should need anything. We had a dead frog in the kiddie pool, and she responded right away and when we came back he was gone. That’s how efficient she was. There is an elegant sitting room as you enter, and it was the perfect spot for late night conversations. There is a dining room just off the entrance to the home that seats eight. We had a private chef come to the house one evening, and the dining room was the perfect spot for an elegant dinner with friends. The house has a fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances, as well as an eat in breakfast nook. We had two chefs come to the house during our stay, and both were able to work seamlessly in the kitchen. There is also a formal living room off the kitchen as well. As you can see there is a ton of room for friends, multi gen families or two families travelling together. This 3,500 square foot home has six bedrooms, of which three are master suites (two king and one queen), all with en-suite bathrooms (one with a Jacuzzi tub). Every bedroom has a television and full closet as well as dressers and ample space for all those Disney souvenirs to be stored. Off the king master suite is also a princess themed bedroom with a full sized Princess Carriage bed. There are additionally two twin bedrooms containing two twin beds in each of these themed rooms. These room share a full bath between them, located in the main hall. Upstairs you will find a loft room with a King Bed, two twins and master bathroom. This is perfect if Grandmom and Grandpa are coming to stay, it’s a space set apart from the main areas of the house. Amenities There is no shortage of amenities at Characters Corner. From a Mickey Pool to a theater room, you won’t grow bored when you are taking a break from the parks. Our group spent a lot of time poolside, or in the hot tub after a long day. And I will say it’s absolutely worth it to have a pool in your backyard in Florida! When you come back from the parks, it’s a great way to relax and wind down. All of the doors that exit to the pool have alarms on them, you have to push a button to exit without alarm going off. This is a HUGE safety feature when traveling with small children. There is also a gate that can be put up to keep the kids away from the pool and only on the lanai. The garage has been turned into a Disney themed theater room, it’s a great spot for family movie nights or a foosball tournament. Other Amenities Included: Full Washer and DryerTwo Pack and PlaysLinens and TowelsGas Grill Streaming Sticks on all televisions to log into with your accounts This is my second stay at this home, and I absolutely love it here. The location cannot be beat just a short drive to Walt Disney World parks, Disney Springs, and Universal it’s the place to be for your next Central Florida vacation. Travel
