Where to celebrate Fourth of July at Disney World Jenn, July 1, 2016September 30, 2019 Sharing is caring! Share Tweet Pin Disney World is the best place to celebrate any occasion. Nobody pulls off July Fourth celebrations like Walt Disney World. If you are going to be in Disney next week here are all the ways you can celebrate in your red, white and blue. We love being in Walt Disney World for the holidays. Disney really pulls out all the stops to take a celebration to the next level. This is no exception for the Fourth of July. You will see parades, fireworks and events unlike the rest of the days of the year at Disney. Personally my favorite park to be in on July 4 is Epcot, they have fantastic events all day. From special characters; to live music and a grand fireworks display if I can’t be at home I want to be in Epcot. Disney World 2016 Fourth of July Celebrations Magic Kingdom “DISNEY’S CELEBRATE AMERICA – A FOURTH OF JULY CONCERT IN THE SKY” will be held on July 3-4 at 9pm each night. Other great ways to celebrate the USA at Magic Kingdom anytime of the year: The Hall of Presidents: A Celebration of Liberty’s Leaders gives you an entertaining lesson in American history. After nightfall, dancing patriots, a stately bald eagle, glittering lights and the patriotic music of the Main Street Electrical Parade all honor America as the parade’s stunning finale float lights Main Street, U.S.A. TIP: If there are two parades that evening go to the second parade, it will be less crowded Hollywood Studios 5:45 pm – A DJ will take the stage and keep the party going until fireworks time. 10:15 pm – “Rockin’ 4th of July Celebration” – Fireworks with a rock n’ roll soundtrack EPCOT Throughout the day, Chip ‘n’ Dale in their patriotic costumes will appear on the promenade near The American Adventure. 12:30, 1:45, 3:00pm – Voices of Liberty 4th of July Concert (features an expanded cast performing a patriotic salute, including the Spirit of America Fife and Drum Corps and Disney characters) – on the America Gardens Theatre stage. 4:15 and 5:00pm – Voices of Liberty will perform inside the American Adventure Rotunda 5:15, 6:30, 7:45, 9:00 pm – Stayin’ Alive performs at the Sounds Like Summer concert series 10:00 pm – IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth will feature The Heartbeat of Freedom, a 5-minute patriotic fireworks finale. If you are looking for a cookout on July 4 make a reservation for Mickey’s Backyard Barbecue at Fort Wilderness. This event is held outdoors and features an all you can eat buffet of american favorites including ribs, chicken, hot dogs, baked beans, cobblers for dessert and much more. We love going here as it has live country music, dancing and a few character appearances. Mickey’s Backyard Barbecue is a classic taste of americana at Disney World.
