Universal Orlando On-Site Resorts: The Best Breakfast Options Jenn, February 29, 2024April 25, 2024 Sharing is caring! Share Tweet Pin Universal Orlando Resort has an array of breakfast options scattered among the six on-site resorts. Staying on-site has many perks from free transportation, to early park admission and express passes. It also allows you to easily enjoy other resorts amenities as they are close to one another, many within walking distance. If you are planning to visit Universal Orlando, try a few of my breakfast favorites at the on-site resorts. Breakfast at Universal Orlando Before hitting the parks to cast a spell, or take on The Incredible HULK these are all excellent ways to start your day! Cabana Bay Beach Resort – Bayliner Diner Bayliner Diner is a fast-casual food court, but don’t discount that for taste. Offering everything from fresh fruit, to omelets made to order this is a great option for breakfast. Grab a seat and watch the retro commercials while enjoying your meal. My go-to breakfast here is the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Croissant served with breakfast potatoes. The fresh buttery croissant is perfect, and the eggs and bacon are always fresh, they don’t sit under a heat lamp all morning. Paired with a fresh cup of coffee and fruit, it’s a great way to start the day. Loews Sapphire Falls Resort – Amatista Cookhouse Breakfast with a view and a Caribbean vibe is what you’ll find at Amatista Cookhouse. You have the option of a breakfast buffet or unique a la carte options. The buffet is always a winner, offering made to order omelets, fresh pastries, fruit and various sides. If you are feeling a little more adventurous I suggest my favorite, Caribbean French Toast made with caramelized pineapple and toasted coconut. Loews Portofino Bay Hotel – Trattoria Del Porto Loews Portofino Bay Hotel provides breakfast in a beautiful Italian atmosphere. Take in the views of the Piazza and dine al fresco while enjoying a breakfast buffet or specialty items from the menu. My absolute favorite item here is the Eggs Beneditto, made with poached eggs, prosciutto, arugula, ciabatta, tomato hollandaise and potato hash. Loews Royal Pacific Resort – Islands Dining Room The Polynesian vibes of Royal Pacific are echoed in both the décor of Islands Dining Room as well as many of their dishes. Indulge in a full breakfast buffet or delight in decadent a la carte options. If you have a sweet tooth for breakfast I suggest the Tahitian French Toast a L’Orange made with caramelized bananas with a sweet cinnamon butter. Hard Rock Hotel Orlando – The Kitchen I think this restaurant is a hidden secret at Universal! It has some of the best food on property. Start your day with the endless breakfast buffet, complete with guitar waffles. You also can’t go wrong with a dish named after The King himself in “The Elvis” French Toast or go with the tried and true breakfast sandwich, The Remedy. Loews Aventura- Urban Pantry This food court style dining venue is fresh and modern. Since Urban Pantry is located right next to the pool, you’re welcome to take your meal (or your selection from the grab-and-go food carts that are located throughout the cafeteria) outside to eat by the water. Featuring sandwiches, flatbreads and unique items like calzones for breakfast there is no shortage of choices. I personally love the BLTA sandwich, with a fried egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. The delectable dishes you see here are just a small peek into the bountiful breakfast choices at the six Universal Orlando on-site hotels. Whether you’re looking to indulge in a leisurely breakfast, or to just grab something quick and delicious before heading to the theme parks, you will surely satisfy your appetite.
