Day-by-Day Chronological Bible Giveaway

You want to read the Bible but where do you start? It can be quite overwhelming to say the least. I have been a Christian most of my life, and I know there are chapters I have only skimmed during a lesson, and never really read the whole thing. The Day-by-Day Chronological Bible helps to guide you through the Bible, at your own pace.

Day-By-Day Chronological Bible

Many people are unfamiliar with the stories of the Bible. God gave us the Bible to reveal truth about himself and about our lives, and he wants to draw us into the ongoing story of what he is doing in the world. The CSB Day-by-Day Chronological Bible features a clear approach to the Bible, arranging the text into a fresh chronological reading plan with daily readings guided by Dr. George Guthrie.

What I love is that this bible is not date specific, so you can begin at any time. The format is the easy reading text of the Christian Standard Bible® (CSB). The CSB stays as literal as possible to the Bible’s original meaning without sacrificing clarity. This to me is important, because I don’t always understand the narrative of the other versions.

Features Include

  • 52 weeks of readings (six readings per week) in chronological order
  • Scripture presented in three main acts- God’s Plan for All People; God’s Covenant People; God’s New Covenant People
  • 17 total scenes, an introduction for each act and scene to orient the reader to its importance in the grand story
  • Single-column text with plenty of space for taking notes
  • Concordance, smyth-sewn binding, presentation page, and full-color maps

The Day-By-Day Chronological Bible is actually on-sale at Lifeway Book Stores for $19.99! Talk about a great deal for a bible.

  1. I am trying to use a journal but sometimes I feel it would help to have a dated bible. That would be awesome

  2. My favorite verse is Galatians 3:28. For there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for we are all one in Christ Jesus.

  3. Ruth’s declaration/cleaving to Naomi at Ruth 1:16-17

16 But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. 17 Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the LORD deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.”

  4. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.”

  5. I sought the Lord and he answered me, he delivered me from my fears. Those who look to him are radiant, their faces are never covered with shame. Psalm 34: 4-5

  6. One of my favorite scriptures is 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
“9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”
