Medieval Times Baltimore Castle: Spring Break Offer Jenn, March 26, 2017October 25, 2017 Sharing is caring! 0 shares Share Tweet Pin Medieval Times is the perfect way to spend Spring Break without breaking the bank. The Baltimore Castle is offering a special discount for my readers, and with an all new show you don’t want to miss out. We were asked to participate in a Blogger Knight and received 4 tickets to visit the Baltimore Castle in order to give a review, all opinions are my own. Medieval Times Baltimore Castle: Spring Break This weekend we headed to the Medieval Times Baltimore Castle (located between DC and Baltimore) to preview the new show. Miss. M decided to bring two friends along that had never experienced Medieval Times. To say the kids had a great time is an understatement, they had no voices at the end after cheering on our Red and Yellow Knight to victory. Before the Show Begins In the Hall of Arms area before you enter the show there is a bar, some seating and a large gift shop. You can also expect some of the show stars to come out, we found the Falconer to be really cool. If it is your Birthday or a Celebration you can also be Knighted by the King himself. You can explore the dungeon as well while you await the show. There are some great photo-op spots to capture your memories. Your tickets say to arrive 75 minutes before show time, but I would say 45 minutes is plenty of time especially with little ones, they may grow weary quickly. Let The Fun Begin When it is time for the show the trumpeters will call you by color area on your place card to seat you in an organized way instead of a free for all into the tournament area. It works really well and allows everyone to be seated rather quickly. Once seated you are greeted by your server, ours was Will. He was a delight, and easily explained how everything worked and started the process. Everything you need to know about the meal is on your napkins! Medieval Times does offer vegetarian options and your server will ask before the meal if there is a need for that. By the way there is no silverware, they didn’t use this in the 11th Century so why use it now. You can however ask for it if you would like. The meal of bread, roasted chicken, corn on cob and potato wedges is very easy to eat with your hands, and it adds to the fun of it all. So skip the silverware and enjoy the environment. Once the meal service is underway the show begins. You will be swept away to an age of bravery and honor and witness epic battles of steel and steed, with all the splendor of 11th Century Spain. The Dinner show is non-stop entertainment throughout the entire meal. It is a really great tournament with horses, jousting, chivalry and of course a bad guy trying to win over the Princess so the Knights must fight for her honor and the Kingdom. There is also a part of the show featuring beautiful Andalusian horses and the splendor that they can exhibit. Six Knights will battle to be champion and one by one they are eliminated from the tournament during your meal. The audience engagement is great through the show, it makes you really feel as if you are part of the tournament. Special Pricing Not only is it fun but there are a couple great specials going on right now. Prices for Medieval Times Baltimore Spring Break will be $37.95 for adults and $29.95 for Students & Kids when guests use the code SPR3729. Before the 5 pm show Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (April 11-13,2017) they will include FREE Jr. Knights Training (limited space available first come first serve) and a FREE activity book for every child! Doors open at 3:30 pm & training begins at 4 pm. Children must be between the ages of 5 and 12 to participate. Training is open to both boys and girls. Closed toe shoes are required to participate. Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament is a great 2 hour show filled with good food and fantastic entertainment. If you haven’t been to a show be sure to add this to your Spring Break plans!
